Question:

FuFu, can you please recommend a meditation for my everyday practice?

On SELF LOVE

Q:

You mentioned in your book that you may give us a 3-minute meditation on SELF LOVE. Can you guide me here by writing?

A:

Ribbit, friend.

Let’s hop into a 3-minute meditation on self-love.

Find a comfy spot, sit back, relax, and let the Zen vibes flow.

Minute 1: Breathing and Relaxation

Close your eyes and take a deep breath in… 1… 2… 3… and out… 1… 2… 3… Feel your body relax, like a frog soaking in a peaceful pond.

As you breathe, imagine any tension and stress leaving your body, like a frog lying on a lily pad. Ah, relaxation.

Minute 2: Affirmations

Now, let’s repeat some affirmations, my friend.

  1. “I am enough, just as I am.” Ribbit!

Say it with me: “I am enough, just as I am.”

Feel those words sink in, like a frog diving into the water.

  1. “I love myself, flaws and all.” Ribbit!

Repeat it: “I love myself, flaws and all.”

You’re a unique frog, and that’s what makes you special!

  1. “I am love and respect.” Ribbit!

Say it loud: “I am love and respect.”

You’re a fabulous frog, open and receptive to love and respect.

Minute 3: Self-Love and Acceptance

As you continue to breathe deeply, imagine a warm, green light filling your body.

This light represents self-love and acceptance. Feel it spreading through your veins, like a frog’s webbed feet gliding through the water.

Remember, you’re a wonderful, quirky frog, and that’s what makes you amazing. Embrace your uniqueness, and let’s hop into self-love and acceptance.

Final Ribbit

Take one last deep breath in… and out… Feel refreshed, renewed, and ready to tackle the world with self-love and self acceptance. Ribbit!

The Most Ancient Meditation Technique

Q.

LoLo: You talked in your book about your first experience of an ancient meditation technique learned at the foot of Himalayas, can you get this meditation from you tube?

A:

Yes, here is the one very similar to what I experienced in person in Rishikesh of India. It is a “I am not” meditation.

“I am not the body. I am not even the mind”

An Ancient Mantra

How to discover who I am?

Fellow seekers of self-discovery!

“Who am I?” – this age-old question has been asked, again and again, by deep thinkers like you. It is a good and fundamental question for a healthy, wealthy and ribbiting life.

First things first, find a quiet spot where you can be alone with your thoughts. It could be a cozy corner in your room or a peaceful park bench.

Close your eyes, take a deep breath, and let go of all the noise and distractions around you. This is your time to connect with your inner self.

Reflect on your zeal, interests, and values. What makes your heart sing? What brings you joy and deeper fulfillment?

Explore your past experiences and how they have shaped you. What lessons have you learned along the way? What challenges have made you stronger?

Embrace your quirks and imperfections. They are what make you uniquely you. Celebrate them!

Listen to your intuition. What is your gut feeling telling you about who you are and what you want in life?

Remember, self-discovery is a journey, not a destination. Be stoic AND kind to yourself along the way.

So, my fellow frog yogis, go forth with an open heart and a curious mind. Embrace the adventure of discovering who you truly are!

WHAT IS Detachment?

Detachment is a principle practiced by enlightened masters. It is also one of the most misunderstood spiritual principles among non-yogis.

The misunderstanding could be due to the English translation of the Sanskrit word of vairagya. Vairagya means untainted and uncoloured. Thus, unattachment is a more fitting translation – a practice of letting go, freedom of the mind and inner tranquility.

In essence, ‘detachment’ can be summarized in nine words: “I may own anything, but nothing owns my mind.”

Here are three simple practices of detachment that will instantly liberate your mind.

  1. Let go of things that are beyond  your control. Trying to conquer things outside your control is the biggest energy vampire.
  2. Let go of what is not working in one area of your life and focus on what is working in the whole of your life.
  3. Do not confuse your role playing with the essence of who you are. You can be a father, a CEO and husband. Your ability to unattach yourself from one role to another can make you a highly effective individual. For example, you will not likely be effective if you act as a CEO in front of your child or spouse; or a wife acts like a mother with her husband; or a girlfriend tries to make his boyfriend “be a better man” like a school teacher.

The essence of detachment is to unattach, and let nothing disturb your inner tranquility. Free your mind and you shall be a free man under all circumstances.

How to age better?

Fellow tadpoles!

Let me share with you some ribbiting wisdom on how to age better. So, hop on your lilypad and let’s dive right in!

First and foremost, embrace the power of croaking. That’s right, my friends, regular movement is key to keeping your froggy body and mind in top shape as the years hop by.

Next, nourish your body with wholesome, natural foods. Fill your diet as unprocessed as possible, with plenty of insects, algae, and veggies to keep your energy levels high and your skin glowing like a firefly on a summer night.

Don’t forget to hydrate, my fellow amphibians! Water is your best friend for flushing out toxins and keeping your cells plump and juicy. One caution, drink less in the evening, to ensure good night sleep, without visiting a toilet bowl.

Another important tip is to take time to meditate, focus on your breathing, and let go of any worrisome pond scum that’s weighing you down.

And finally, surround yourself with family and friends with hoppy vibes. Spend time with those who bring you joy and laughter. Let off the rest, guilt free!

Remember, aging is a natural part of life, nothing to fear. Do fear that you have never lived, simply existed.

With a little froggy wisdom and FuFu’s help on the side, we can all gracefully hop through the years.

Stay green, stay fabulous! Ribbit on!

How your thoughts create reality

… or how thoughts heal us.

Have you ever wondered if your thoughts have the power to shape your reality?

According to science on healing, the answer is a resounding yes. Your thoughts and beliefs can directly impact your health and physical recovery.

Positive thoughts, such as acceptance, cooperation, flexibility and gratitute, have been shown to boost the immunity and promote fast healing.

On the other hand, negative thoughts such as anger, fear, despair or bull-headed, lead to increased stress and depleted energy, exasperating an illness.

This phenomenon is known as the mind-body connection, proven by countless scientific studies known as placebo effect and nocebo effect.

You can actually “programme” your mind to heal your body, by ways of proven meditation, visualization, and affirmations.
